I was out this past Friday treating myself to a little lunch. While waiting for the waiter to come back with my meal I thought I would check to see how much money I had made. I pulled out my iPhone and checked my various accounts and the money was flowing in like always. It wasn’t until I got to my PayPal account that I was shocked. There was $970 just sitting there waiting for me to accept it. The strange thing I didn’t have a clue who had sent it or why. I took a few minutes, did a little digging and found out that it was from an affiliate product that I was promoting.
After reading all of those so-called ebooks and reports on making money using twitter it was a simple system of sending three tweets a day that worked. To set up everything from beginning to end took about two hours. The even better part was it cost me less than twenty dollars to make $970. I don’t know about you but that’s a pretty good damn return on investment in my book. I’m so excited about this simple process and I’m about to give you the exact steps that I used to make that little twitter bird pay me.
I like most of the people on twitter use to make the same mistakes. In the beginning I had failed to track my results, which did nothing but waist a bunch of time. The second biggest mistake that I was making was I was forcing my sales pitch down peoples throats which did nothing but upset a lot of people.
The birds-eye view of making money using twitter is simple, give the people what they want. Solve there problems, and give them great content. If you were to only apply that strategy to your twitter advertising you will make money. To dive in a little deeper I will explain step-by-step what it was I did to make some easy twitter cash. You will need to take some sort of notes, so open up a word processor or get a pen and paper or something.
The first thing you have to do is start off by finding a good affiliate product to sell. I search for affiliates on clickbank and paydotcom, but that’s just my preference. You can use any affiliate program that you feel comfortable with. When choosing an affiliate they must meet two conditions. The first is the product must have a high price tag, and the second condition is they must at least offer a fifty percent commission. My opinion on this is it takes me the same amount of time and effort to promote a $10 product as it does a $1,000 product.
Once I have found the right affiliate product, I will purchase a domain name, create a quick little course to giveaway to assist in building my opt-in list. As you already know the money is in the list, that’s no big news. It doesn’t have to take you weeks or even days to create a course. Since I am to lazy to write a report and I don’t want to use something that is already out there such as PLR rights or something like that. I will just make a quick outline of what I want to cover in my course, turn on the old webcam and start talking. In about thirty minutes or so I have four or five videos that I can bundle up and call it a course or a system. Now that I think about it it would probably be a good idea for me to do the same thing using the content from this exact article. Once I have completed my mini video course, I will design a quick little page with a few words on it and an opt-in box, and start promoting.
I don’t want you to think that my first efforts at twitter advertising was a huge success because I failed many times before I hit the jack pot. I made all the same mistakes that people are still making right now. If you follow this system you can avoid months of failure and go straight to making money.
