How To Make Money with PLR Ebooks: Powerful Ways to Succeed with Your Online Marketing
Would you like to find a better way to increase your online sales? A way that does not entail any great financial investments? In this text I am going to put forward the idea that PLR products may be a good way to achieve just that.
An e-book is an electronic book that can be immediately downloaded and read on your computer. The subject of an ebook naturally may vary, just as the subject of ordinary (printed) books varies.
The first thing you have to decide on when planning an ebook is to determine whether or not there is a significant market for it. It is very wise to do some basic market analysis with some serious keyword research of the prospective market. After all, if there is no market, there is also no chance of ever becoming financially successful, no matter how much you are trying to promote your ebook on the internet. So doing your keyword research homework is very important.
If we assume now that you have come up with a great (provisional) title for your ebook, and confirmed that this new e book has a considerable market for it, how shall you put it together? Anyone who has produced e books knows that putting one together one is not easy, and that it takes significant time. Not only is there a lot of text to be written, but there is almost certainly a lot of research that you have to do before you can formulate the text so that it becomes correct and instructive.
PLR Products
It is at this point in time that you may want to start considering PLR products: PLR articles, PLR ebooks, PLR videos, etc. The acronym \”PLR\” is short for Private Label Rights and it practically means a legal right to convert a given product (text, picture, video, etc.) into a final product that you can put your own name on, as an author.
Using PLR products is very common these days. Many authors use PLR ebooks as a way to streamline their creation of their own e-books. In fact, many authors also use PLR articles as a way to expand their websites into authority sites with hundreds or even thousands of articles. PLR products can therefore be used to set up yourself as an expert in your own market.
Here are three ways that you can use private label rights ebooks to make more money: (1) Sell the ebook on your website; (2) Giving the ebook away for free; (3) Giving the e book away as a bonus.
1. Selling Your PLR E book and Make Money
One idea is just to use your edited e book as an ordinary product to sell. You can, for example, put it up on your website and sell it for a certain price. If it is only 20 pages, maybe $17 is a fair price; if it is 80 pages maybe $63 is a fair price. But there are of course several factors that you should think about when putting on that price tag. One factor is quality: how good is the product compared to your competitors? Another factor is uniqueness: Is a similar product offered by your competitors, or is your product one of its kind?
Besides quality and uniqueness there is also consumer psychology to reflect on. By that I mean that certain prices \”sound better\” than others. Also, a higher price tag communicates more quality; so you may not want to price your ebook too low.
2. Give Your PLR Ebook Away for Free
Giving away a PLR ebook for free might be a powerful way to get visitors to sign up on your autoresponder newsletter list. That, in itself, is worth a lot, assuming that you have other products (e.g. ebooks) or services (e.g. education) that you are planning to sell to them.
After being on your email list for some time, and after having read your free e-book, they will come to respect you as an expert. Then, when they encounter a product of yours that they have use for, they will most certainly buy. Remember though, that this may be a gradual process, and that all subscribers to your emailing list will not be purchasing after only two or three emails.
3. Give Your PLR Ebook Away as a Bonus
Another great way to use an ebook for is to present it as a bonus when you sell some other product. Note here, though, that some Private Label Rights ebooks may not permit that you give them away as a bonus, even though you have thoroughly rewritten them. So please be careful with the licence of each particular PLR product: check it one more time, just to be certain!
Let\’s say that you are developing a short ebook about the real estate market in Italy, with the aim of using it as a bonus for another product. For instance, you may have written a big e-book about fashionable homes currently for sale in Venice, and you might bundle that with your bonus e-book. Or perhaps you are, as an affiliate, selling someone else\’s ebook about doing business in general in Italy, and then offering your Italy real estate ebook (or \”special report\”) as a bonus with that. No matter what the main product is, bonuses are frequently excellent incentives for the potential customer.
Final Remarks
I would like to stress that creating an ebook, even one that is based on a PLR product, is not totally painless. You, or the one who is rewriting it, still have put in some factual work to make it unique and interesting to read.
So when you change a PLR e book or PLR article, you may try to improve it not only in a stylistic sense to make its voice more personal, but also to adjust and expand on facts, data, illustrations, and links. This will ensure that your e book will be more unique and of better quality, and that it may also be better positioned in relation to all of your other e-books and products that you are offering on your website.
